Hery was initiated by a group of volunteers who saw the need to
address and champion the voice and needs of the marginalized
and vulnerable communities in the South Sudan. It is a previllage for me to be serving this country through this organization.

Vision
HeRY envisions communities with well-built capacities and capabilities
to take on development initiatives by promotion of self- reliance
through appropriate resiliency interventions.
Mission
HeRY is to work with the rural poor communities,
the marginalized and vulnerable groups to improve their livelihoods
and increase self-reliance through awareness creation,
education support, health care delivery, food and nutrition support,
provision of water, sanitation and hygiene services,
capacity building and policy & advocacy for
gender equality and human rights recognition.
